The NHL Shootouts software consists of an executable file (NHLshootouts.exe), a database file (NHLSHOOTOUTS.FDB), and several DLL files. No other files are necessary to run the software. Everything is encapsulated in the NHL Shootouts folder, and nothing is written to the Windows registry. The NHL Shootouts software installs absolutely no spyware, adware, or viruses of any kind on your computer. And the best part is that the NHL Shootouts software is FREE.
The software can download database updates from this Web site on demand or automatically at program startup. The database will be updated on this Web site after each night of NHL action. If the software is unable to download the NHL Shootouts database for some reason, you can come to this Web site to download the database and save it to the NHL Shootouts software folder.
